How to Integrate a Facebook Lead Ad

Learn how to connect your Facebook Lead Ad (Lead Form) to the LinkU CRM and trigger a campaign.

****UPDATE 7/31/19 - Facebook requires new permissions for Lead Ads for our system to work properly. We are currently working to update our pages and flow to work with Lead Ads and expect this to be fixed shortly. At this time, NEW Lead Ads cannot be added to the LinkU platform until this is resolved. Existing Lead Ads should continue to work. If this is not the case, please contact [email protected] *****


Are you using Facebook's Lead Objective, or Lead Ads with your ad campaigns? If so, you'll want to connect it to your LinkU CRM to retrieve your leads automatically and also trigger campaigns.

How to Integrate a Facebook Lead Ad

  1. Go to Marketing Services > Facebook Settings

  2. Click on the green Connect Now button under Integrate Facebook Lead Form

  3. From the dropdown menu select the specific Lead Form you want to connect.

  4. Give your Lead Form a name in our system

  5. You can test that your leads from your Lead Ad go into our system here: https://developers.facebook.com/tools/lead-ads-testing/

Connect Facebook Lead Ad to Follow Up Campaign

  1. Go to Campaigns (Follow Up) > Configuration & Settings > Manage Form Actions

  2. Locate Lead Ad by the name you gave it and select the checkbox to the left of it.

  3. On the right hand side click on Select Campaigns to choose an active campaign to connect to.

  4. You can test this using the testing link above but be sure to delete the original lead test in our system first and then also on the tool by clicking on the Delete Lead button before testing again.
