Why Aren't My Ads Running?

There are a few possible reasons why your ads may not be running:

Permissions Access Needed

If we've created your Facebook Business Page for you from the ground up then we've already got the permissions needed and this is not the reason your ads are not running. You can skip down to the other possible reasons.

However, if we are working with a previously created Facebook Business Page then it may be a permissions reason behind your ads not working. Here's a short video on how to verify if we have permissions.

Payment Method Needed or Declined

During your automated onboard process we ask you to provide the credit card details you'd like us to use for ad spend. Your ads may not be running for the following reasons:

  1. The credit card details are incomplete or inaccurate.

  2. The credit card has been canceled or updated.

  3. The credit card has declined

For security purposes, our team can assist you with this over the phone. We will verify the last four of the credit card on file and confirm if we have the expiration date or security code you provide during that call. If anything is inaccurate or if you need to provide a new card, we will take care of that during the call as well. Please call (888) 995-4658.

Pending Completion of Onboard

Every so often it's a simple matter of our team not being able to move forward with your setup because we are waiting on you to complete the onboard process. This gives us the details needed to create and launch your ads.

They Are Running

There is a real possibility that your ads are running. However you yourself may not actually see your ads because we may have filters in place to best optimize your ad spend. That optimization often means excluding you from seeing your ad so your money can be best focused on potential prospects instead. We do have a reporting dashboard where you can see if your ads are running and what the current exposure of those ads look like. Here's a short video showing you how to access your reports.

Other Actions

If you've completed your onboard process and there are no issues with the credit card you've given us, the next best option is to give us a call. We can run a quick diagnostic to determine if there are any other reasons your ads aren't running right over the phone with you to get the ads up and running as quickly as possible.
