By selecting this method, the shipping cost will be assigned to each product in the product details. You can also provide a multi-item discount, if someone ordered more than one of the same item. To setup this shipping method, the following steps are recommended.
From the Shipping Settings page, select Per Item Shipping.
Enter a ship from zip code.
Click Save Changes.
Click Return to Shipping Method.
Click on Add Shipping Method.
Enter a shipping method, such as "Standard Shipping".
Enter a base shipping cost. This is highly recommended when using a per-item calculation. Enter the "bulk" of the shipping cost here. Example: If your lowest shipping cost for an item is $2, but your minimum shipping cost (to you) is $4.50, then $2.50-$4.50 should be your base cost.
Select the countries where this rate applies.
Click Save Changes.
If you want to add an expedited shipping rate, or rates for other countries, then enter additonal rates and specify a higher base cost.
