We have heard of recent events regarding ADA compliance issues and are looking into how we can help. However, this is an issue many providers are looking at dealing with because it can be very complex. We are working on new designs, where we are going to do our best to ensure additional ADA compliance, by hiring a consulting firm who specializes in ADA compliance for websites. Then we will review some of the previous designs, and make updates there where possible. However, this will likely take several months to complete the process.

This doesn't mean our existing designs and websites are not ADA compliant, we just can't advise from a legal perspective if they meet every requirement, because we are not lawyers, nor experts in ADA compliance. Even as professional web designers and developers, we do not have expert knowledge in the area of ADA compliance, nor are the ADA compliance specifications for websites 100% clear cut. This is likely going to be the case for the majority of website providers, not only in real estate but other industries as well.

Even after we have ensured our templates meet these requirements, it may be virtually impossible for a web provider to guarantee ADA compliance, since you (the client) have access to modify and edit the site, such as adding custom pages, etc, which potentially may not be technically compliant. So in any case, if you are truly concerned about potential legal action, to hire an attorney or professional who specializes in ADA compliance for your website, have them review the site and then provide the changes to us.

If they create a list of findings, we can do our best to accommodate(certain changes may have additional costs), but this is probably the only real way to 100% protect yourself, even if we have done the same thing on our end.
